Really love this cosy restaurant! We walked in after chancing upon it when we were trying to look for a nice place with Prosecco that we can sit, eat and chill along Circular Road. Service was excellent and the pizza is great! Thin crusted and generous in their toppings and sauce, every bite is rich and full of ingredients and flavour. We ordered the seafood tomato sauce based pasta and we weren't disappointed! To be honest, it was the way the male host was serving his patrons seated at the entrance of the restaurant that got our attention and decided to give it a go. The host was really thoughtful and nice. Together with another hostess, the team kept topping up our flutes with chilled prosecco from the bottled we ordered whenever our glasses were near empty. Their cheerful disposition and keen observation is very much appreciated. Serving rather Classic Italian dishes, I have to say their fried chicken isn't that great. Perhaps the grid calamari would have been better but it would be seafood overload since we already ordered the seafood pizza. The evening ended with a tiramisu and a panna cotta to share. This is probably the better panna cotta around as it was creamy and dense. Not too tough nor too soft, the consistency was just right. The tiramisu is nothing short of "I want another spoonful please" again and again. It has a good balance of the complexity of bitterness of the espresso in the cake and the milky sweetness to the cream. The sweetness and bitterness lift the experience with depths of taste instead of the usual overly sweet tiramisu that is usually put up in other places. To top it all up, the host served up a shot of limoncello for each of us on the house. They have won my heart.
